I have received a variety of services at this office. Skin checks, cosmetic treatment and skin care product are my a part of my repertoire as I near 60 years of age. I am very pleased with the advice and care I have received here. Tiffany is the first face I see when I check in for my appointments. She is very knowledgeable about the skincare products as well as the treatments provided. She is also fantastic about letting me know when specials are running to save me some cash. I see both Katherine and Dr. Magee. I feel comfortable with them both. They truly listen to my concerns, answer my questions and keep me relaxed when I am not sure how I will tolerate a procedure. They do all that is possible for a positive outcome. I will continue to trust their advice and there care.
I was very satisfied with my visit with Dr. Elder. She examined and treated all that needed to be treated. And I was reassured that nothing was too troublesome.
Dr. Elder is fantastic--caring, gentle, attentive, very smart and skilled. She is a doctor who actually speaks to you and makes eye contact---a rarity these days. Her office is super efficient, appointments are on time, the rooms are airy and pleasant, the nurses always easy going. I recommend Dr. Elder and her entire practice.
Dr. Elder is the best dermatologist in the Charlottesville area in my opinion. I have been a patient for over ten years and have had medical services and cosmetics procedures done. Dr.Elder is professional and thorough in her medical evaluation and artistic and conservative in her cosmetic approach to the patient. I have recommended numerous friends to her practice and each individual has come out a better version of the original. Katherine Loose is the best of the best! I used to dread going to dermatology appointments as a freckled, light-skinned woman. However, since I have found Katherine, I am comfortable making not only routine appointments, but find myself seeing her for anything that comes up. She is approachable, knowledgeable, and always makes me feel like a priority. I have had both microneedling and IPL, which made me look like a new person; my acne scars are gone, as well as my dark spots and fine wrinkles. I would recommend Kathering to anyone in a heartbeat!!!!! She is a gem!
Dr. Elder has great bedside manner. I was very nervous to have a procedure done on my eyebrow and she settled my nerves and made sure I didn't pass out. She is very personable and her laugh is contagious. I have since sent my husband and all my friends to her! Best Dermatologist in Charlottesville.
